Giedrė Gečiauskienė has joined INVEGA Management Board

The Management Board of the national promotional institution Investicijų ir verslo garantijos (INVEGA) has been joined by its fifth member – a highly-experienced financial expert Giedrė Gečiauskienė. She will be responsible for client service and financing solutions.

As stated by Daina Kleponė, the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of INVEGA, after the reorganisation, INVEGA becoming the sole national promotional institution that provides state financing and creates financial instruments for business, the public and agricultural sectors, the main purpose of the institution will be and it will focus on improving service quality with the aim to become the main driver of the country’s economy.

“All the financed sectors have different needs, therefore, it is necessary to create a particularly professional INVEGA client service strategy and processes. I am sure that Giedrė’s experience and skills will be certainly significant and add to the creation of the organisational culture with a strong client focus, client relationship will be further improved and the investment decision making processes will be elaborated,” says Daina Kleponė, the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of INVEGA.

G. Gečiauskienė has worked in the financial sector, in management of financial assets and operations for over 20 years. Over the past 6 years, she was involved in the organisational development of Danske Bank in Lithuania by forming and managing large international teams, being responsible for the optimisation and digitalisation of operational processes, their risk management and provision of top-quality financial services to business and institutional clients worldwide. For the last two years G. Gečiauskienė worked in the country management team of Danske Bank Lithuania and led wholesale banking teams of the Bank group.

“I am delighted to be able to use all my experience in the financial sector upon joining INVEGA, the complex activities of which create great added value for the national economy. And the current stage of the transformation of the institution calls for the right creation and growth of the clients’ trust, therefore, I will pay much attention to optimal financing solutions focused on clients’ needs,” says G. Gečiauskienė.
