With a view to promoting the development of innovative small and medium-sized business in the Baltic Region UAB Investicijų ir verslo garantijos has become a partner to JOSEFIN Project. JOSEFIN (JOint SME Finance for INovation) – is a multilateral cooperation project of the Baltic Sea Region Programme for 2007-2013 under Priority 1 “Promotion of investments in the Baltic Sea Region”. The Project is aimed at designing a scheme which would improve access of innovative and technology-intensived SME which seek cooperation with foreign undertakings operating in the countries of the Baltic Region to financial assistance during the business development process: drafting a business plan, assessing the possibilities of foreign markets, attracting sources of financing. JOSEFIN Project is planning to maintain close cooperation with other projects being implemented under Priority “Promotion of investments in the Baltic Sea Region”, in particular with BaSIC.

More than 20 institutions active in the spheres of financing, guarantees, innovations and technological development from 7 countries (Germany, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) have become the partners to this Project.

In the framework of the  JOSEFIN project  INVEGA provides guarantees on loans issued to companies, which have received coaching provided by Lithuanian JOSEFIN partner Lithuanian Innovation Centre.
